                                 The Decision

Time: 12:47am

Ethan knelt before the corpse of his dear friend, David, experiencing too much emotions than to even settle and listen to one at a time. He cursed the very day he had made that unforgettable deal with the Trickster, cursed the very moment he had sat down on the wooden chair to lay with his life like some toy he would regain a few days later. Why did this have to b the outcome? He asked, fully knowing that it would come to this right from when he decided to tango with his life. The blood seeped through many areas of the wooden floor board, soaking the clothes which the corpse had worn, along with the trousers his friend wore. He could smell it. It smelt like the rusted iron exposed to the oxygen within and left to decay until the last parcel. It was detestable.

The moment was interrupted by a click sound made by a gun, pointed straight to his temple without giving any distant gap. He would show no mercy. Ethan looked up. A burly well-built man with a rare physique stood tall with a height of 6foot 7. His finely leathered black coat swayed roughly in the dead night's wind, his black boots polished to the grim shimmered at its very best in the dark, his long ebony hair which stopped right at his shoulder was parked into a ponytail. He decided to make no movements until Ethan was ready to decide his fate. Ethan felt it. He could already feel his life slipping away, but he had to make a decision. To either become the Trickster's slave, or to have the same fate as his friend David. What was he going to do?

His thoughts were already intrrupted by the Tricksters cold, dead voice, which brought a slight shiver to his spine. "Have you made your decidsion?" He asked, he did not make any attempt to withdraw the gun. Ethan gave him what seemed to be a nod, but it wasn't that fluent. Before the Trickster could even ask the next question, Ethan rose and gave him a sharp blow on the chin, before exceeding to step forward and give him an upper cut, but it wasn't planned for at all. The Trickster only gave a slight twitch and pulled the trigger. Luckily he had missed his aim right from when he was hit. Ethan was very volatile, so he wouldn't give up this opportunity to escape with his life. The sole of his foot forcefully collided with the Trickster's chest, before he took to his heels and ran. The Trickster staggered, but that wasn't enough to make him fall. He quickly ragained himself. Ethan ran like he had never done before, not even taking a slight second to look back at the Trickster, who, already had his revolver aimed at him. And then with the pull of a trigger, Ethan fell. The blood gushing out from his thigh wasn't even more severe than the pain he felt. It was excruciating. The Trickster proceeded, walking calmly as if nothing wrong had happened, until he reached Ethan. Ethan was helpless, he couldn't even move. All he could do was plead, but he already knew the other wouldn't listen. The Trickster held his gun against Ethan's temple once more, while saying just a few cold words, "You made a wrong decision", and then pulled the trigger. Darkness, consumed the area.
Clearly I didn’t put my best in writing this, but what the heck! =D
